Thought more people may see it over here and be able to answer this.

I have a burning question LOL! Is there a difference between the two? My moms 4Runner (2003 I think) has both marked in her back seat. From what I can remember (I could be wrong) the LATCH one was in the seat bit and the ISOFIX was in the seat (the part your back is on... a little higher up I think)Can you use one marked LATCH and one marked ISOFIX on the same seat? I need to read her manual but I thought I would ask you guys since I don't have access to that right now. TIA!

I think ISOFIX has guides that the bars go into, doesn't it? Whereas LATCH is designed for the kind of connectors we use over here. I wouldn't use one with a seat designed for the other, personally. But reading her manual will probably give you a definitive answer. :)
