I'm not sure about the 2009 as the LATCH manual only goes through 2006/2007, but I don't think so. Lexus does not allow borrowing in general and as of the 2006 MY LATCH was only allowed outboard in the IS 250. There is an additional TA for the center position.

Yeah, I doubt it's changed. Lexus is pretty much the same as Toyota, right? And Toyota for sure still doesn't allow borrowing.

thanks, i actually found another post later from sam josh and pacey's mom explaining why you arent allowed to borrow on most of them. i just have never used a seat belt for the install before. i have tried a couple times and couldnt seem to get it tight enough. i guess we will find out tonight! anyone have tops for getting it tighter? i have a radian and will be puuting it RF in the center.

Rearfacing shouldn't be an issue with the radian.

Also, your manual will generally say in what positions the LATCH may be used.

You have to follow both the carseat and vehicle manufacturer instructions. Even if Lexus did allow borrowing, the Radian does not. You can only use it with a dedicated set of lower anchors with standard spacing.

The locking shoulder belt retractor may cause it to tip. That's a common concern with rf seats and seatbelt installs. You might need to use a locking clip to prevent that.
