Ok car seat mamas, I really need your help. Sorry this is so long!
DS and I are getting ready to fly home to South Carolina from Korea for a visit and DS needs a car seat for the plane and for driving around when we get home since he's outgrown his infant seat.
The problem is that I'm very limited as to choices here Korea and I honestly don't know a whole lot about car seats. I also need to make sure these car seats will fit in an airplane seat!
Right now I'm looking at Britax car seats since those are the only ones I KNOW are rear-facing at higher weights that I can get here in Korea. DS is about 20 pounds and very long, he'll be 10 months old when we travel. My choices are the Britax Decatholon, Britax Roundabout and the Britax Marathon. I've done a good bit of research, but I honestly feel like I need help from mamas who know A LOT more to make the best decision for my son. *Update: I also just found an online store that carries the Evenflo Triumph Advance.
Also, I know it's a lot to ask but would anybody be willing to look at these links and make sure these are the appropriate models/car seats? In Korea there is a huge problem with copyright violation and someone saying it's one thing when really it's another. I've compared the pictures here to pictures on amazon, but again, I'd like mamas who are more familiar to check it out. This is really, really important to me. They all cost about the same, between $350 and $400 here in Korea so that's not an issue for me. I want the safest and most comfortable seat of the 3.
Or if you know a better seat to recommend I can try to find it here in Korea.
