I'm trying to buy my dd a new carseat, narrowed it down to the Triumph Advance because of the high harness slot height but cant tell the difference between these 3 at toysrus.ca

The two Triumph Advances have the same harness height and weight limit. The difference is the fabric, padding, and possibly the LATCH connector (I can't tell which the one model is). The third one, that is a Triumph (not Triumph Advance), has lower weight limit, harness height, and shell height. Stick with the Triumph Advance.

The third seat(Black Ice cover) listed has the same weight limits and shell heights as the other Triumphs listed. It is also the LX version...TRU just does not have it correctly named.
The Premier has the alligator latch clips and I would assume more padding.
There is another version of the Triumph Advance called the DLX but I do not know if they sell it in Canada...I own a LX cover and a DLX cover and the only difference is in the padding and shape of the headrest. The DLX cover has more padding then the LX.
I've never touched a Premier seat\cover so am unsure if the padding is more then or the same as the DLX. Whatever the case the LX cover is still very well padded and would be comfy for a child.

Here's a link to the US site picture: http://www.toysrus.com/product/prodpop.jsp?LargeImageURL=http%3A//TRUS.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pTRU1-4527677dt.jpg&displayTab=enh&productId=3028987&totCount=0 That's the same cover as the one missing the picture on the .ca website - though it's admittedly a rather poor picture. It's more of a light charcoal gray and black combination. (note CDN and US limits are different on this seat. the CDN limit is 30lbs rf'ing and 47lbs ff'ing.)
Personally speaking, if you're using the seat with a young baby, having the extra padding will probably be nice. Also, the alligator style LATCH clips are so much easier when removing the seat, and in some vehicles much easier when installing too.
Oh, and it also has memory comfort foam in the bum area, so it does have a bit more padding. I don't think it's a huge amount more, but it's a small bit more.
So all 3 seats have the same harness height, same weight limits. Just the premier has extra padding, memory comfort foam in the bottom, and has the nice push-on LATCH connectors.

thanks. i ended up ordering http://www.sears.ca/gp/product/B0019MWAN8/sr=1-11/qid=1230436365/ref=sr_1_11/181-4802187-9375224?ie=UTF8&searsBrand=core&mqnodeid=APS from sears as shipping was cheaper and i can exchange it more easily. same description as the others but not listed as an advance. so confusing.
it is for my almost 1 year old so i'm hoping she can use it until she is 4 and can use a booster. my older dd grew out of her seat long before 4. so i bought a nice seat that musta sat on the shelf cause now its expired.
