A seller on Amazon had a new True Fit for $19.99. Shipping was $16. So I snagged it. It said only one left in stock when I ordered, so I think I got the last one.
DH is going to be highly skeptical. What should I do with it?
Our seats now are:
Boulevard in 1999 Honda Odyssey
EFTA in 2002 Subaru Forester
Roundabout in sitter's car (2004 Hyundai Sonata)
Should I cancel the order? Sell it? Give it to my cousin who still has her 11 month old in an outgrown 20 lb. Snugride (in a Volvo XC90, I might add)?

WOW. HOep you get it. I'd save it an put in the sitters car. Or tell your cousin that you will sell her the RA and put it in the sitters car now.

Sounds like you just bought a great Christmas gift, even if it will be a bit late. You might consider replacing your RA or BV for the higher limits on the TF, but then you can pass the old seat on to your cousin who seriously needs a new one.

I hope I get it, too. I'm wondering if this will be the Amazon/Target Marathon fiasco all over again.

I do not understand my cousin. She has my Safeseat 1 (which would fit her DD perfectly) but continues to use the old Snugride, despite the baby's head being even or slightly above the top of the seat. It is clearly outgrown! She wants to use the Snugride because she has two bases for that seat, and there is only one base for the SS1. And she's waiting until her five-year-old hits 40 lbs. so she can move him into a booster and pass his two Marathons down to the baby. But still... that Snugride is outgrown. And possibly expired, now that I think about it, since she bought it while pregnant with her now five-year-old son.

Ah, I guess it was too good to be true - my order has been cancelled. Too bad! :)

technically, you can fight it, if you bought it and paid, the seller entered into a binding legal contract with you to sell it, ...so if you wanted to pursue it, you could sue the guy....if you wanted....personally I'd probably let it go since it was obviously a mistake....
