I have a question about my son's Blvd. I am trying to install it FF in the 2nd row captain's seat (I think that's the right term.) of my 2004 Yukon. I have it in the full, upright position, but it sits almost off of the edge of the seat, and the base doesn't touch the seat completely. It just doesn't look right to me. Does that sound right?

Thank you for your help.

Does it help if you can remove the headrest from your captain's chair?
And when placing the boulevard on the seat of the vehicle, sort of sit on it when you are trying to position it....pushing it down rather than worrying too much about it being back against the seat back... The base of the boulevard should be on the seat totally then and be easier to get it snug.
There is no substitute for a tech to help you with it...find one near you to help if you can...

Welcome :)!!What age and weight is your child?

Make sure the Boulevard is in the upright position. There is a handle on the front of the base (under where your child's feet would be) that will allow it to be changed from reclined to more upright.

Also, check your vehicle owner's manual to see how the vehicle seatback should be positioned--Check under "Child Restraints". Some manufacturers are very specific (fully upright, 5 "clicks" back, etc), and some don't give much guidance, but having the vehicle seatback at the correct angle can make a big difference.

And yes, if the vehicle headrest is interfering with proper positioning, that can usually be removed to--Again check your Yukon manual.

If you can post a picture, that's always really helpful!
