Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience getting 2 carseats to fit in the back of a GMC Sierra Extend-a-Cab.
So far we are having no success.
We tried to get our Roundabout to fit in one of the side positions, but could only get a tight fit with it positioned in the centre. So right now we have the other seat in the front (airbag turned off). We know this is not a great set-up, but my husband has to pick the kids up from day care, so it was the best we could come up with.
Note: there is only Latch anchors in the centre of the back seat, not the outboard positions. There are Latch anchors in the front passenger seat.
If someone else has found seats that fit well into this vehicle, I'd love to know. Or, if you've managed to get a Roundabout to fit well, we can work at that again.
Note: we need one seat to be RF for DS (9m, 18lb) and one to be FF for DD (almost 3yo, 30lb). I'd like to keep DS RF as long as possible.
I'd prefer to have DD RF but the driver would have no leg-room, so that is not an option in this vehicle.
We already have: 2 Roundabouts and a True Fit. Need to buy another seat soon, since DS is outgrowing his infant bucket seat.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
