Hello,

My DS is a big guy and has been since before birth :) he was weighed about 7 weeks ago at almost 9 mons and he was 27lbs and 29.5" We have him in a Radian RF of course and I am so sad that I may have to turn him around soon  I wanted to have him RF until he was at least 2.

We can't afford to buy a new seat and I am not sure if there are seats in Canada that RF passed 30#s. I am so distraught I don't know what to do besides not weigh him for a few years

Currently the only seat in Canada that RF to 35lbs is the True fit. Zellers does seem to have it on sale alot though.

I don't knowif this will be true of your lo, but oncemy dd hit 9months, she stopped gaining weight so quickly, maybe he'll stay at 29.5 :)

I agree... my friend's little one was 27 lbs at 6 months old, and is still 27lbs at 20 months old.

My dd is 16 months and 26lbs

At 15 months, she was 27.3lbs

At 9 months she was 25lbs.

YOu might be surprised that he weight gain will slow like others have said, now that he is getting more mobile.

If yoru son continues to grow at that rate, I would serious try as hard as possible to get the money to buy a True fit as you want to keep her rearfacing as long as posisble at at 9 months, it is not safe to have him front facing
