Frontier recall in Canada?

Is the Britax Frontier being recalled in Canada????

I would like to point out, to those who do not already know, that Allport was instrumental in Britax's eventual decision to recall the Frontiers. As soon as the first reports were coming in, efforts were made to discuss with Britax the urgency of the situation and the importance of implementing an immediate in-production fix.

The most impressive part about this situation is that, up until recently, Canada was largely ignored as a marketable population by some carseat manufacturers. With the implementation of LATCH, Britax didn't even re-release seats back into the Canadian market for a couple of years... But we are proving to them that we are a worthy market, AND we do expect a quality product...

Hopefully we'll know soon enough if there's going to be a Canadian recall or if it will be an advisory. Either way, we should expect the same level of service out of Britax.

Yes, ditto what Nicole said.

Having been using carseats in the last 9-10 yrs, I have to say that it is so much better now to see many carseats available in Canada, better response from manufacturers, better relationship/leadership from TC, more techs, more parents care enough about CRS safety to be knowledgable, etc. It can only get better :thumbsup:

As of this afternoon, they have been pulled off the TRU/BRU shelves in Canada.

I got an email from my instructor with a word doc of the recall, so I guess there is one. It's dated dec 15. I don't see it on the TC website yet.
