Need to buy a seat for a Optra

Hi all. I am not sure if you remember but I posted about giving my snugride to my SIL and I have decided I will buy her a new seat rather than give her mine. She is due in mid jan, she drives a optra (2005 maybe 06) and her husband drives a nissan altima approx 2004?? I will be giving them the stroller that went with my snugride.... I don't really want to spend a wack of money on a seat because it is likely only going to be used for 6 months. What seat would be the cheapest that would work well in their cars and also still fit in the stroller? I am just wondering if I should go with another snugride or if there is any other options etc. TIA!

FYI.... I just took a look at the manual for the stroller and it says not to use any other seat with it, only snugride and safeseat. So I guess now my question is, for those vehicles, would a Graco infant seat be the best choice for the price? I have not played with a safeseat.... is it worth the extra money in terms of the weight and height allowance difference?

I'd get a Snug Ride, personally. The SafeSets are a bit larger and not knowing how much front/back room there is in an Optra, I'd go with the smaller seat.
