View Full Version : Need a decent convertible from Sears Canada)
I'm trying to help a friend on a budget. She's got a Sears gift card;) Her DS is almost a year and about 20 lbs. He's in the baby bucket right now, but it's expiring the end of December. They drive a small car (Chevy Aveo). I'm trying to help her keep him rf'ing.
Suggestions?

From looking on Sears' website, they offer the 3-in-1s and a Graco ComfortSport. They all RF to 30 and FF to 40 pounds. The 3-in-1s try to do it all from RFing through FFing to booster, but don't do a great job at anything. They make particularly poor boosters.
The 3-in-1s are as low as $200. I'd pick that over the CS just because the CS has a really short shell (my 24.75" daughter is on the second of three slots already), and will be outgrown by height really quickly. Just forget that the 3-in-1 even has a booster option.

Evenflo Triumph Advance is at Sears... that's what I'd get. :)
RF to 30lbs, FF to 47lbs, top 'slots' tall enough to get her child to good booster age (5 - 6 years old).
Pretty sure the Aveo does not have sculpted back seats, so the knobs on the side shouldn't dig into the seat. It's also fairly short front to back, so it fits in small back seats well. :)

I second that. The Evenflo Triumph Advance is a million times better than the comfort sport or 3 in 1. It also takes up less space rearfacing.

Definitely get the EFTA over the CS or 3-in-1. I just didn't realize it was available.:o
Thanks, ladies! I recommended that she get the EFTA:thumbsup:
