Hi- for those of you who have shopped Britax's sales or love to price watch, can I get a Regent lower than $198 with free ship if I wait for the sale in February?

I paid $250 for a Regent in 11/2007 so $198 seems like a no brainer. The other issue is the seat will be a secondary seat until August 2009 when my baby's RF seat expires.

Fretting,
Renee

I wouldn't do it, simply because your baby is very young and should be rear facing as long as possible. A lot of babies slow down on the weight gain after the first year or so, it's possible that your baby will be able to rear face for another 2 years (it's 400-500% safer). You can get cheaper convertible seats which will keep your baby rear-facing 100% of the time.

(I wrote this assuming that you were talking about the regent for your 9 month old, if I am wrong sorry!!!)

The minimum advertised price on the Regent will revert from $219 where it's now to $249. You might find it more difficult to get the seat at $198 if the MAP has been raised up that much.
