Compass DOM

I checked out the Compass booster (530) at TRU today. I noticed the DOM was November 2007! I then went and checked Walmart (505) and the DOM was October 2007! How long have these seats been in Canada and are they not popular that they are just not selling? I wanted something with at least a 2008 DOM. Anything more current out there in the Vancouver area?

Depending on the seat, whether or not the store sells displays, and how fast stock moves, you can find a display seat with a DOM much older than the ones actually in the back of the store.

The BRU I work at sells display models, but typically not the booster ones. Your best bet would be to request that they bring one of the boosters down for you to look at and see what the DOM is. They may look at you funny, but that's the easiest way to find out. (At least at TRU/BRU.)

It didn't not even cross my mind that the stock in the back would have a different DOM:o I'm going to have DS try it out and will ask them to find me the most current DOM if possible.

Just an update that I picked up the Compass 530 at Sears today. The DOM was 4/29/2008. They were $99 and unfortunately not on sale.
