I was doing some online window shopping this morning on www.babyage.com, and came accross the Travel Systems. They are shipping to Canada.
If you pull up item number 71319TNS, I went all the way through the check out, even put in my Canadian address and never got a message saying that they couldn't ship here.
What do you make of that?

I know that some sites will call and cancel an order containing a carseat once they realize the buyer is in Canada. Other sites don't filter. Technically speaking, I believe the seller is responsible for making sure what they're shipping is allowed in the postal system and that it's not illegal. I'm not sure if it's illegal for them to ship a seat in to Canada or not - I suspect the illegal part is the act of importing - aka buying and having it shipped to a Canadian address.
Were you just experimenting to see if they would ship?
There's a few online sites in Canada that are frequently recommended around here. If there's something specific you're looking for perhaps we can help you find a site. Many people have experienced having US seats confiscated at the border recently. If that were to happen to you, you'd be out the money and have no seat. It's just not worth the risk - not to mention that any imported seat wouldn't meet Canadian CMVSS 213 standards.

Yeah, I was experimenting to see if they would ship.
I'm looking for a Graco Quattro Tour Travel System with a pattern that is light brown, I really like Bermuda, Oakville (I think) .... That sort of thing.
Does anyone know if Graco Canada will be releasing any new patterns soon?

I relied to your question on the other thread about this http://www.car-seat.org/showpost.php?p=642925&postcount=12
In my reply I said that their shipping info states their travel systems cannot be shipped outside of the continental U.S. They will cancel your order if you place it. It is sometimes difficult to have your shopping cart be smart enough to not ship to certain places when it is only certain items that can't be shipped. I couldn't check the details in the shipping info for the specific item number you posted, because it comes up as "Your search for "71319TNS" did not match any of the products we carry."

Sorry maybe I wrote down the item number down wrong. TB19TNS
It's the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System in Townsend.
When you click the shipping tab at the bottom of the page. It doesn't say anything about not shipping to Canada.

Regardless, I don't believe there is any way that is a Canadian seat and like I said in my other response, even if they do ship it, it has a high probability of being seized at the border. Email them, and ask them for a picture of the CMVSS sticker on the side of the seat (I linked to what the pic should look like in my other response).

I dont' know if this helps you.
But I just bought the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System in Samuel this weekend.. its is brown with some turquoise. I REALLY like it and couldn't pass it up when it was on for $100 off (reg $389). So I got it this weekend at Sears for $289.. I would continue to keep an eye out for those big sears days sales.. they have some good ones!.
I had to buy it in store though.. and it was a big of a challenge since my sears doesn't carry baby items and they would NOT let me pay over the phone.. luckily they had one near my sister who lives a few hours away so she went and got it for me.. thank god for sisters!
Here is the link just to show you if you are interested:

Really, regardless of whether they'll ship it to you or not (and I don't think that they would), and it managed to get to you across the border (more and more US seats are being seized), you would then be in posession of a travel system with a car seat that you couldn't use in Canada anyhow. Also note that BabyAge doesn't accept Canadian returns. So if you got the seat, saw it wasn't CMVSS stickered and wanted to return it, you couldn't.
Car seats sold on US sites are not going to be CMVSS approved and stickered. Even if it's the exact same seat with the exact same cover, a seat you buy in the US isn't approved for use in Canada. If you want a matching travel system, you'll need to buy one from some place like Toys R Us or TJs.
There's a very nice brown and polka dot travel system on the Toys R Us website that has a SafeSeat, and a brown and blue plaid travel systen with a SnugRide. Maybe one of those would suit your needs?
