Is anyone interested in doing a Squeaky Shoe Co-op? I'm considering organizing one if there's a lot of interest.

If you're new to Squeaky Shoes, here's the website: http://www.wholesale.chinadirectstore.com/squeaky_shoes.htm

Post here if you're truly interested. :)

How soft/flexible are the soles? If they are super-flexible I'd be interested :)

Do they all squeak? Can you take the squeaker out?

I have tons of squeaky shoes mine are like the leather ones, don't know about the canvas ones. You can take the squeakers out and they are quite flexible. I would say they are just a tad less flexible than see kai runs and peddoodles.

I would participate but those are all too small for Elizabeth. :D

I'd be very interested. The ones our Stide Rite carries are $40+!!

Any idea when the ones that are out of stock, get restocked?

the out-of-stock ones have been out of stock for a while i believe.
Okay, let's see if we can get a bit more interest and then hopefully I can organize one.

And yes, the squeakers can be muted/removed. :)

As long as these are decently flexible I would be in for a few :)

Me!!!
We got DS some squeaky shoes last winter for his first birthday and he LOVED them (to death!). He seriously had them worn out in 3 mos - and I'm not saying they are cheap or poorly made shoes - he just wore them that much!
The make fun gifts too!

Does anyone know how these shoes (especially the Mary Jane or sneaker styles) fit kids with very high arch/instep and wide feet?

Oooohhh, if you get a good price I'd love some. Especially since I HAVE to buy 2 pair! LOL...

I'm not sure what a shoe co-op is but if it can save me money on shoes I might be in too! Thanks!

Yes, they fit wide and fat feet well. DS has some sandals and some of the "oxford" type dress shoes that he loves. He has very short fat feet. LOL. I would say that they might not work if your kids have really narrow feet, but can't speak from personal experience.

I'm probably in for a few pair. I was actually going to do a local co-op but decided to wait until I have my baby so I can get a bunch of girly stuff if I have a girl.

DS has narrow/normal width feet (far from wide but normal width shoes fit him pretty good) and the squeaky sandals (fisherman style) that we had last summer fit him great. My DN has wider feet and the mary janes fit her great also!

My main concern is the high instep. We have to be really careful what we buy because, for instance, they can measure a 3 but take a 4 1/2 to get over the top of the foot...
