I know this is completely off topic, but I came across this amazing doll on ebay today, and I just had to show someone!
( I can't believe it sold for that much either!!!)
I have NEVER seen a doll that realistic before! (You have to scroll down to see the whole doll)
The skin tones are amazing - Even the veins (It's kinda' creepy, yet cool in a way, too)
All I could think of is ......it would be a great 'model' to try out new infant car seats (Am I a geek or what?)

Still - If I had an extra thousand bucks - I sure wouldn't spend it on a doll!
New car seats for my family, but not a doll!

I've seen "life-like" dolls on eBay before, and I'm aware of 2 incidences where someone left a doll like that in a vehicle and the authorities were called!

Wow! At first i was thinking "wow thats cool" and then as i scrolled i began to wonder if it really was a baby! :) I cant believe it even has genitals! Its so cute i want one but i'd be afraid with lack of sleep i'd get confused and mix it up with the real ones! (no DF would be the one to do that. i'm fine with 4 hours of sleep a night. he needs 10 or he's useless) I wonder how many crazy infertile women buy these to play with (just joking, take no offense there please! But i know i would do it!)

LOL Joyjoy has a doll that is 23 1/2 inches long. We went to BRU one time and she insisted on bringing her "baby" with her. So I walk in carrying a two year old, diaper bag, and this doll by one foot. I got the oddest looks! The doll was left in the car one time and dh came home and for about two seconds thought I'd left Joyjoy in the car. :p

hehe I stopped bringing the more lifelike babies with us because the lady at the bank thought I left an infant sitting in the shopping cart. Uh, no lady, it's a doll...

LOL I can see where that could happen!
