Need some fast advice, please

We're leaving in 20 minutes and I'd like to bid on something on ebay. It's a pet divider, to go between the cockpit and the cargo area of my Nissan Xterra. Would this help protect against flying items from the cargo area, or would it become a projectile itself?

The short answer is, pressure mounted dividers like that are not recommended, as they will not hold in a crash. There's more detailed info in the archives, but I don't have time to dig it up right now. The thread(s) that cover this topic should include info from a Reader's Digest article.
