I just don't let my kids in the car. Now that the baby has outgrown all the convertible seats (dad's, grandparent's) and I only own 1 carseat for her, the difficult-to-move / reinstall Regent, I just don't want to let anyone take them anywhere. Does anyone else go a little overboard like this?

Yup, I get a little nuts that way too. I have made the move to a booster for my 5 year old, but it is a parkway, and now the one's the grandparents use pale in comparison. So I am sending the parkway with her anytime she is in their cars. As for the baby, she is now in a DC, and although she hasn't outgrown the smaller convertibles, I just can't imagine sedning her in someone else's car in anything but the DC...ugh!

Yes, I did the same thing for awhile, until I got spare seats for other vehicles. :)

Yep, very rarely does she ride in other people's cars, so she only sits in the Turbo a few times a year. I drive most of the time.
