Has anyone been able to install a FF MA in the center of an '04 Audi, in particular, an Allroad? I haven't completely tried yet, but it seems that the headrest will be a problem. I can't figure out how to remove it.

Will it install fine outboard? At first glance, it seems like the base doesn't sit flat no matter what the position. I got a debilitating headache just as I started to try, so I didn't really get far.

OK, I was able to try it again. Taking off that center headrest was a 2-person job, but we got it off.

Because of the hump, I needed to pull the MA base forward on the seat to get it to install flat. This created a gap behind the MA, though. Does then entire length of the MA need to sit flush against the vehicle seat? There's a tiny gap in my car ('01 Forester), but not as big as in my husband's car. The first photo is my car; the rest are my husband's. I haven't attached the top tether in his car yet.
