My friend has a daycare and occasionally she has an extra kiddo. I told her boosters are never allowed in the front. I know I have read that a harnessed FF kid is allowed if there are no other seats available. Do you put the largest kid who is FF in a harnessed seat up front?
She has a mini van and I assume it has an air bag that can't be turned off.

Actually, I'd go with *oldest* forward-facing harnessed child in front. (Oldest and largest usually, but not always, go together.)

I agree, the oldest harnessed FF child. However, she also needs to make sure the child's mother is aware of the situation.

Thanks, yeah I didn't know how to word that (oldest or biggest) because there can be a huge difference. Her oldest kid in a FF harnessed seat is 5 years old, but her biggest kid is a 3 year old.

She did ask the mother of the biggest kid and she was ok with it. I told her I would ask here for advice. I'm glad I did because she needs to ask the oldest kids parent now. She is uncomfortable doing it, but it only happens about twice a month.
