Can I fit 3 carseats in the bench seat? I have 2 boys, Hayden and Parker, and a baby on the way (due 6.29.09).
Hayden has this carseat: http://www.safety1st.com/product/detail.asp?ID=2672
And Parker had this carseat for now: http://www.safety1st.com/product/detail.asp?ID=2593 but without the ladybug theme...all though it is super cute
And we have a Graco Snugride for the new baby....but I need to check out the expiration since it is the same one we had for Hayden.

I would imagine you can.
The Tahoe has an enormous backseat, and I'm presuming it was the same 10 years ago. I think almost any combination of three seats would work. The Apex is a little wider than most seats, but I don't think you'll have a problem. Just make sure that each seat is independently tight (though they can touch each other).
Your best bet is to try it out and make sure it works. If not, we can help you find another solution.

I'll be honest the Apex will most likely have to go. It has to do with were the infant carriers handle & the Apex armrest meet. It makes snapping in and infant carrier hard and sometimes you have to shake the carrier for it to lock into place. I would look at the Graco Nautilus for the child that rides in tha seat. The GN is narrower then the Apex which will buy you a few vital inches.
I will say test it out first before replacing the Apex b/c it might work but I used to own a Tahoe and install seats in Tahoe's daily at work. Installing a Britax Marathon next to a Graco Snugride in a Tahoe makes for a tight fit next to each other due to the handle placement.

What if she tries the Apex and infant seat outboard, and the other seat (I don't remember what it is) center?
The Apex is very wide, though, which will probably be the only hang-up with the situation. If it doesn't work, I would second the recommendation of the Nautilus. If you REALLY have trouble, the Radian is very narrow and will certainly work, but it's a harness-only seat that doesn't turn into a booster.
