View Full Version : I am so excited - I may have just helped to keep another child rear-facing!

I responded to and ISO listing on CL for a RA or MA earlier today. In my email correspondence with her, I mentioned something about extended rear-facing (and noted that I strongly suggest it) and extended-harnessing. When she responded, she said, "I think I will keep him rear facing then. I thought one switched to forward at age 1 or 20 lbs but would prefer to be safer." I sent her a link which some additional information, in case she wanted to read more or share the information.

I don't know if she'll buy my seat, but sounds like she's at least a bit better informed now. :)

Way to go, That is Awesome!! Don't you just love it when people are actually responsive instead of defensive?!

Thanks! Yea, I'm always a little apprehensive because you just never know how someone will take something. I actually had kind of assumed that she was looking for a Britax b/c she wanted to keep her son rear-facing. I am so glad I mentioned it.

good job! I wish one day, even just 1 parent I mention ERF to would keep their baby RF or turn him/her back to RF. At least I'm getting someone to HWH :)
