(I cross-posted this in the carseat forum as well :))
Does anybody know if this will work?
We haven't actually gotten the carseats yet (waiting on our lovely tax return, lol), so I'm not sure exactly how big they all are.
We are going to be buying a minivan sometime here in the next couple of months, I have my eye on the Toyota Sienna and am trying to figure out whether the 8 seat model is worth the AWD trade-off or not (we live in North Idaho, so we do have the snow/ice to contend with in winter).

Thanks so much; I just found this site a few days ago and already it has been an invaluable source of info for me!

I just got a Sienna a month ago. We have three children and we opted for the seven passenger. I LOVE MY SIENNA!!!!! I had an eight passenger Pontiac and did not like the kids all in a row, too much fighting. They are 7,5,4. I have a Parkway and wanting a Regent. The kids seem to have enough room in their "own" seats in our Sienna, even with the two seats next to each other. Hope this helps.

I was set on an 8-passenger Sienna and had one on order. Once I sold my previous van, I had 3 kids daily in one row of our wagon. The constant fighting and poking grew old pretty quick. At least for my kids, I prefer to have them separated. I opted for the Odyssey so I could still have an 8th seat when needed. Normally, it is stowed away and we just have 7 seats.

The 8-passenger Sienna would probably fit 2 Regents and a BV, but it will be snug. The problem will be that access to the third row will be limited. If you don't really need them all in the second row, the AWD model might still be worth consideration.
