I am trying to decide whether to get a Truefit or a Nautilus for my 4 year old daughter. She is 40 lbs and about 42 inches tall. She is currently in an Evenflo Generations and I am very tired of the knob adjustments.
I have seen the Truefit and she fits in it fine as she is very slim and tall in the body, about 23.5 inches seated. I like that the truefit has lock-offs like the Britax roundabout that our 2.5 year old is in, and that it has easy strap height adjustment and cover removal. Is there any other feature that I should consider? I'm not too worried about buying a bum booster later as they are so cheap.
The Nautilus is not yet available in Canada but I understand that it is coming in the new year or before. I like that steel frame of this one and that it seems a little bigger. Is there anything else that makes it worth the wait and would the steel frame make that much of a difference?
Our 2.5 year old is about 25lbs so she still has awhile in the roundabout before she needs another seat then she could move to the Generations or the Truefit/Nautilus depending what our older childs needs are at that time.
I may have the decision made for me if the nautilus does not get to Canada before our oldest gets a little bigger.
