No, I don't believe there are any infant seats that allow you to replace the handle.

How old and heavy is the child? Do you need to carry the infant seat around? You could just leave the seat in the car and take the baby out. Or you could switch to a convertible seat which stays in the car. Convertible seats rear-face to 30-35 lbs, and then are forward-facing.

Even if you could get an offset handle, it really wouldn't help your back/arms. The best way to carry an infant seat is with one hand at the end of the seat (where the child's feet are), and another either on the top of the seat (where the head is) or on the handle, then carry it up high (at the top of your abdomen).

By off set, do you mean like the zig zag Evenflo handles? If so, they are worse on your back! I had one and hated it. I much preferred the regular handle on the Snugride. I agree, maybe it's time to move the baby to a convertible and use a sling or stroller when you get to your destination. ;)
