It's on the website now, though no picture, so I don't know which pattern. It's $249... ugh. Maybe it'll go on sale soon, like the True Fit... I really want that seat!

I forget the pattern name now. :o I checked the computer at work the other night and right now stock seems to be limited to the warehouse, so I think they're building supply before bringing it to stores - not even all the warehouses have stock yet, to give an idea of how little stock is there, so I'm not sure if it's available any other way then online right now.
I'm looking forward to it showing up though. :D
eta: And while $250 is more than a SS1 and most others, it's still $50 less that the peg perego infant seats, and it will have 1yr longer use in terms of expiry, and has other features the peg doesn't have. We actually sell a surprising number of peg perego seats at work, and I've been seeing more & more of them at checks, so I think the Keyfit will sell well even if it doesn't go on sale regularly.

Is it green?
If so, it's Adventure.

Yeah, DH would never go for a $250 infant seat. $200 is pushing it, so if I can get it on sale, that's great. Otherwise I'm going for a Maxi-Cosi, just cause it's so cute:)

When I looked at the site it said the pattern was "Adventure" (green I think).
The Keyfit looks like such a nice seat, but not nice enough for me to spend 250 on it. My dd outgrow her infant seat before hitting 4 months, so I'm getting a safeseat (I guess Sungride 32) whenever I have another kid. I do know a few people who would probably buy it though, because they like to buy very expensive things :)
I'm so slow at posting.

LOL - you can special order them in in other colors besides gray too. ;)
I'm not a fan of puzzle buckles though, which is what it has. Allport mentioned it can be hard to install, though I've never seen one outside the store and can't speak personally, so make sure to try it first. It does seem nicely padded otherwise. :)
Maybe the new baby catalog will have a coupon for it when it comes out in the new year? That would be nice. :D

I'm not scared of the installation:) The color doesn't matter too much, but the price does. I like the Maxi-Cosi cause it is light-weight, and just looks really nice (not just the colors). The Keyfit just looks that much nicer, and of course would be easier to install. Safeseat is too heavy, and I hated the Snugride with my dd. So Maxi-Cosi it is, or Keyfit if I can get it for $200:)

I wouldn't be surprised if TRU is carrying the adventure pattern. I was in Springy's (http://springys.ca/) yesterday and they had the Adventure Keyfit in stock. I didn't see a price but I would assume it's the same as everywhere else. It's a really nice seat and I would choose it over a SS1 if it had a higher weight limit because I like all the padding it has.

Not that this thread is about picking an infant seat, but I just wanted to mention I HATED the puzzle buckle on my Combi bucket. It was *okay* at first, but as Emma got bigger and squirmier it was nearly impossible to work with. In all honesty the Maxi-Cosi having a puzzle buckle would be a major drawback for me... so much so I think it would be a deal breaker. Just my :twocents:

I guess I kinda hijacked my own thread:o
I've never used the puzzle buckle before, so thanks for the first-hand info. I'm just crossing my fingers that I can get the Keyfit:)
