Ryanne isnt happy in the Radian. She complains everytime that she doesnt like it. She wants the MA back. I dont want to do a RF Radian. So would you get a TF?? Either her or Hunter will go in it.
She is 3yo, 40lbs, 41 inches, with a 14-14.5 inch torso.
He is almost 2yo, 21lbs, 31inches with a 11inch torso.
I think I will get 3 yrs out of a MA or TF for her.... then I can decided about a seat with a higher top slot.
WWYD??
BTW seats will be going in a 2003 Dodge Caravan that I will be getting in 2 weeks.

Are you wanting to get another convertible seat for your 3 year old so that you could pass it down to your younger child. If I were in your shoes, I probably would go with a combination seat like the Graco Nautilus or the Britax Frontier. They will last a while due to the high harness height (taller then both the radian and the marathon) and then convert to a decent booster when the time is right.

We dont have the GN here yet and Im not really intrested in the Frontier.
She will go back into the MA so I was thinking about the TF for my lil guy.

I could easily get a 30 degree upright angle with a Radian in an '03 Grand Caravan... is there a particular reason you don't want the Radian RFing in that van?
I loved it rear facing in the van...

The Trufit does install well rear facing at a more upright angle in that van as well (35 degrees max allowed), but it's definitely not my favourite for a few different reasons. :o

That looks great. Thanks for showing me that pic.
If I decide to leave DD FF in the Radian, can I recline the vehicle seat 1 or 2 click to get a bit more of a recline??
Now that I see you can do it, maybe I dont need to buy a new seat.

Check your manual, but I believe some years of Caravans REQUIRE the seat to be reclined a click or two for a LATCH install.

Actually, the owner's manual of the '03 Grand Caravan will *tell* you that you need to recline the captain's chair two clicks back from upright to install with LATCH.
You can see the FFing Radian in the background of the picture I posted. It is reclined two clicks back and installed with LATCH. Very rarely did we have head flop when sleeping... just when they fall into a dead sleep and then it doesn't seem to matter how reclined they are, they always flop their head forward. :D
I don't have a side shot of him FFing in the Radian, but here is what I do have...

If you ever want to install it in the center lap belt position in the 3rd row, you'll want these tips/tricks (http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=28939) as well to do that. :)

Thanks so much, that helped a TON :)
When we get the van in 2 weeks I will take pics of the installed seats.
Also, does anyone have a link to an online manual for a 2003 Dodge Caravan SE.
I would love to start reading now :D
