Has anyone installed a Britax BLVD rf'ing in the center position in either a 2007 model CR-V or a 2001 model Civic? If so, could you put the driver's seat all the way back? I'm thinking we may have to put the seat behind the passenger in the civic, but I'd really like to keep it in the center of the CR-V if possible. DH is tall, though, so he needs to move the seat all the way back to drive. We'll be RF'ing for a while - DD is almost a year but very small.

I have a 2006 Civic and had a RF BV installed in the center for a LONG time.
No problems. :)
I have an '07 CR-V and used to have my Decathlon (same size as Blvd) RFing in the center. I don't remember how far you could put the seat back (i'm 5'0" so need it up close) but I do know you could put it back a ways. Right now I have it RFing behind the passenger's seat and it it's almost all the way back.
My biggest issue with teh RFing center installation is that I wasn't happy how it fit. Since the backseat is a 60/40 split, the seat is kinda off to the passenger side instead of directly center. This might actually work in your favor, though, since it would probably allow more room for the driver seat to go back.

Thank you for the input. I tried to test one at BRU, but it was hard to tell b/c we have the base of the infant seat still in there. Also, I didn't realize that the recline adjusts and wouldn't have to be so far back for an almost 1-year-old, so that would have affected the outcome. I guess the 60/40 split might also work in my favor in terms of seeing out the back window! I'm also just over 5' tall, so I guess she may end up behind the passenger either way.
