I am wondering about my daughter's Britax Blvd. I just recently turned it forward facing and I read in the manual about a forward facing recline feature bu when I tried that in my car, the base looked like it was going to slide off the front of the seat. So...I "undid" the recline and went ahead with the install. I just Does anyone know about the forward facing recline? Also, I noticed the car seat sits a little to the side (tilts) which I have been told by the "car seat check" people is fine if it does that. Is this normal? Thanks!

I believe Britax allows a ff install to be in recline mode only to 33 pounds. Britax seats are naturally reclined, so I don't think it's really necessary.
How old is your child?
I'll let the techs chime in on the leaning issue. I'm not sure about that one.

PP is correct about being allowed to use the FF recline to 33 lbs. However, we don't recommend it. First, most children under 33 lbs could still be rear-facing, which is much safer. Second, it's safer for a FF rider to be more upright. Third, as you discovered, sometimes it just doesn't install well with the recline.
As to the tilting, a little bit is probably fine but can probably be rectified by pushing down more evenly when you tighten the seat (or putting more pressure on the side that's moving up). If that's what you mean.
