do you have to use a military issed credit card in order to purchase? my uncle is retired military but my aunt said he no longer has a cc... can you use a regular cc? tia!

No, you wouldn't use a govt issued cc... only authorized purchases/expenses like travel and training expenses can be made using that card. Using it for any other purpose is prohibited and gets the MM into serouis, serouis trouble.

So any form of payment should work on aaefes... we've used our bank card in the past when ordering DH stuff for his uniforms. I'm pretty sure they list some where on their site what forms of payment they take.
