tips for cleaning seat pads?

I'm selling ds' radian. It is very clean, except the harness pads. He probably cried too much. (He gets very upset if it is his day to open the door and his sister does instead.) There are these spots from tears or snot??? I tried a wet rag and they are still there. (I thought snot was water soluble, so maybe it is salt patches from tears.) Is there any safe way to get it off?

Why not a dollop of tide or dawn in a mixing bowl filled with tepid water. Swish. Rinse under running tepid tap water...lay flat to dry... they should be sparkling (inasmuch as you'd expect clean microfiber to sparkle, I guess, lol).
