This week my local costco has britax marathons for $224.99 and recaro como for $149.99. I didn't check the manufacture date on these so they maybe older. Just wanted to share in case anyone else wanted to check there local costco.

What cover was on the Britax Marathon?

They had onyx and tan swirl - manufacture date was 7/2008. The recaro was midnight desert and manufacture date was 12/2007.

$149 is a steal for a Como.

I am thinking of going to get the Como for my new baby (he is now 5 weeks old) since we will need one in a couple of months. I was looking at the Marathons down there but I am thinking the como is a better deal for us. We have 5 kids (the oldest three are in booster) and DS#1 is in a GN. The baby is in a BabyTrend FlexLoc. We are about to trade vehicles for a 12 passenger van and there will be plenty of room for the Como in the van.
