Choosing a Diaper bag...

How did you go about choosing your diaper bag? What sort of things did you look for in the bag? I am torn between this one

I really like both. I don't know which one I like more. Or should I just scratch these and look for something else completely? I have a Skip Hop Spark that I LOVE LOVE LOVE! but it won't be big enough for a newborn and a toddler! Any input is appreciated!!! TIA

I personally can't stand the messenger type bag that has the big flap you have to fold over to get inside. So that's one of my criteria in choosing. When I had my 2nd, I actually ended up using the free one that I got from the hospital. Then when I tried the Skip Hop (the one that unzips on bottom to make wider), and actually hated it. It was so deep that it was like a black hole! Once I found 3 small water bottles that I didn't know were in there! :whistle:

My absolute favorite so far has been my Ju Ju Be's. Once I didn't need as much stuff to tote, I used the Be Small (http://ju-ju-be.com/besmall.html). I loved it, but was a little small at times. Now I'm using the Be Spicy (http://ju-ju-be.com/bespicy.html), which is actually bigger than I need, but is great that it's big enough to hold 2 funtainers and my Klean Kanteen. It will probably be great once I have 2 in diapers again next summer. My next purchase will be the Be Tween (http://ju-ju-be.com/between.html)! :whistle:

Oh yeah? I'm torn between that and the Be Tween cause I could get the Be Smart in my fave print, :love: Sporty Stripes! :D

I have to have a handy cell phone pocket.

I hate zippers.

Love Velcro and magnetic type closures.

Needs to clean up well.

Has to be cute of course!

Needs organization! Lots of organization! Especially when the kiddoes are young.

I cloth diaper, so it needs to be able to fit 3-4 pocket dipes easily.

Absolutely HAS TO attach to a stroller. I don't care how it goes about doing it, it just has to.

NO FLAP!

Needs to be able to open with one hand, and close with one hand. At least one pocket.

Right now, my favorite is the Storksak Emily... got a great deal on it on ebay. It is very un-diaper bag & I will probably keep using it for quite a while. I also love the insulated bottle holders. The adjustable handle also fits great over my stroller & shopping carts.

My all time favorite bag is the Fleurville sling tote. I am on my 4th one. I just keep finding new colors that I like. Currently I have the black and white geo, I love it!
My ONLY complaint about the sling tote is no outside water bottle/sippy cup pockets. But I have always been able to make it work.
While I don't care for bags with a flap, as most people don't, I do really like my Skip Hop Dash too. It has great organization, and I prefer it over the taller, Skip Hop Duo.
I also have a Petunia Pickle Bottom toddler tote, that I will use when DD#1 is a toddler. :)

i cant choose a diaper bag either! i have a p3 and a bugaboo bee that need to share a bag lol right now i have a jeep one with straps to attach to any stroller but i want something cuter...

ju ju be. I destroyed about 5 moderately priced ones before I splurged on the JJB. It has shown minimal wear.

im leaning towards a ju ju be but i dont have enuff $$$ i need one to match my bugaboo bee but i have a yellow canopy and a dark khaki...and i dont care if it matches my peg or bob...
