Hi

When I installed the Britax Marathon, I found that it sits too tight on my car seat. I am worried if it will tear or make a mark on my carseat.

Does anyone have a good idea of what to do for this? ( something that is safe and approved)

Thanks

a thin towel or recieving blanket underneath. everything else is too thick and could shift or compress in an accident making your carseat too loose.

Please do not recommend using a thin towel or recieving blanket under the seats. These items are not approved by all manufacture and Britax being one of them. Towels are considered an "aftermarket" product so using one when the car seat manual states no aftermarket product will release the manufacture of liability.

Marks on the seat of the car really are something to let roll off your shoulders. It's much worse to worry that your child's safety seat isn't installed tight enough!
