is there anyway to see if i already left repuation for someone? i must have given out too much rep in 24 hours :o as it wouldn't allow me to leave any more. i was going to go back today but didn't want to leave rep for the same post, since i can't remember who it was i was unable to leave rep for last night. i guess i should have written down the 2 names that i wanted to go back and leave it for. so is there anyway to check?:confused:

Not that I've ever figured out :(. I just wait for my rolling 24 hours to be up so I can vote again (if you voted at 8am the first time, then you can vote again at 801am on the next 24 hour go-round, at least). I run out of rep like every day, just try to remember who I wanted to rep or vote for them the next time they say something smart, lol).

I've wondered the same thing! Guess I need to keep a list as well!

Don't worry, just click on the rep link and if you already left reps for that post, it will say "You cannot give Reputation to the same post twice."

For testing purposes I also tried to give rep to the same person on a different post (but the same thread), and it said I needed to spread the love around before giving that person reps again! :p So no worries about repeating yourself!

I didn't even realize that I could give rep. Just tried it and it worked.

Can I have a basic rundown of when to give it?
If I think someone has been super helpful... or super cool?

Yup, helpful or super cool :). I like to give it when people post helpful pictures or links to really useful sites, or go into good detail about their experience fitting a seat to their car(s), or share a great trick to keeping a toddler happy in the car...all those sorts of things :)
