Any suggestions for one that straps to dining chair and them?

I have one by Safety First. I got it from Walmart for around $15. I use it as an extra seat when we go to my mom's. I has 2 straps to attach it to the chair and a harness for the child. It also has a tray that can be removed. It is not the sturdiest but is great for an every once in a while seat.

The Fisher Price Healthy Care booster. Mine has been worth its weight in gold.
I also have a Fisher Price Space Saver, only I wouldn't consider it nearly as portable.
Both awesome boosters IMO.

If you don't absolutely need your child strapped in the Cooshie Booster is awesome. It has no straps of any kind so it is very easy to switch from chair to chair if you have company or need to take it with you to a restaurant or someone's house. It stays in place on any chair all on it's own, even on fabric chairs and is very roomy and comfy for the child. My kids call it the 'soft seat' and fight over who gets to sit in it. It costs about $10 more than the cheap ones, but lasts years longer than your regular Target/Walmart-plastic-strap-on-one (I've had those too for gma's house and my 2 yr old is already too big for them). My big 5 yr old still fits in the Cooshie. Oh, and it is also very easy to keep clean since it is all one piece of moulded foam type stuff (like a Bumbo seat). No cracks or crannies for anything to get into.

We have the Fisher Price Healthy Care booster and it has worked well for us. My 4 year old is still using it as a booster as she is still too short for our kitchen table.

We have the Fisher Price Healthy Care booster (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000DEW8N) as well. We keep it (strapped down) in the car and have used it all over the place. LOVE IT!! Very easy to use, very easy to clean. I had picked up the Safety 1st version before this, but DD didn't fit in it! Something about the crotch strap. I got this one after and have used it a bazillion times. HTH! ~M

We also have the Fischer Price Healthy Care one, as does everyone else we know. I swear we were at a birthday party with lots of kids around one and under and there were about 8 of these seats there. Popular for a reason - they are great. One of my friends has always used it instead of a high chair. Can be used on the ground without a chair too.

Thanks! We do have the FP one and have loved it. Can I ask one more question, At what age did your LO start using the booster chair without the straps to hold them?
