I'm completely confused with how to hook up the latch on the roundabout. I've had the seat for almost a year but never used the latch because my car doesn't have it. I tried installing it in my friends car this afternoon and sat there for a good 15 minutes looking for the latch. I found the pocket on the back of the seat but it looked like it only had the tether. What am I missing?

The LATCH is actually underneath the cover at the bottom of the seat, where your baby's bottom would be while riding in the seat. There's one "hook" on each side, both tucked away in little "compartments" under the padding.

the latch strap is stored under the cover for shipping. There are slots in the base for the connectors (behind the child's hips).

Thanks. I'm an idiot. I guess I didn't look hard enough. :o

Nah, you're not an idiot. Who would guess they'd hide them so well? :D

Nope, not an idiot. Mine never came tucked away like that, so I wasn't even aware of that space to store them until I got a used seat on here and she had them tucked in there! My sister doesn't have latch and never could figure out where to put them to have them out of the way. So now they're finally tucked in where they should be!

not at all. it's so common that they even put it in several places in the manual (http://www.britaxusa.com/uploads/products/user-guides/18.pdf)-

Storing the LATCH Connectors
When the LATCH connectors are not in use, lift
the child seat cover to access LATCH storage
slots (Fig. A). Fold each end of the LATCH
strap and slide each LATCH connector into the
adjacent slots.
NOTE: Child seats are shipped from Britax with
LATCH connectors in the storage slots.
