Marathon RF Tether Help

I have installed my DS's Marathon and it's rock solid, but I need some help with the tether. I drive a '99 Olds Intrigue and the only thing I can find to tether it to is the belt stalk. The only problem with that is that its bolted to the seat and not the floor. Is that ok? I had it hooked to the seat track (what the seat slides forward and back on) but with that I couldnt move the seat and the person in the passenger seat would have their knees in the dashboard. Not safe for them. There is nothing else to tether it to. Also, is it ok for the MA to be lightly touching the front seat? TIA!

i'm not a tech but i believe the seat can touch the back of the on ein front of it. you don't want to be forcefully pushing on the seat but touching is ok. the tether spot concerns me and i would say no. i believe the manual states it needs to be on something bolted to the floor. could you take a picture of the underside of the seat so we could see if there is something else.
