I see quite a few of us from BC on here lately and just wanted to see if there was any interest for a bunch of us like-minded mommies getting together in real life. I know there's me, Nicole (QuasseE), Misty-Bug and Bubbaray down here, and NorthernMommy maybe coming down from PG in the fall. Anyways, let me know if anyone's interested in a playdate!

(Mods, sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I thought it would get the most exposure in the Cdn forum. Please move if necessary!)

I just sort of popped over here from babycenter but I would be interested. Where abouts are you? We are in the Guildford (Surrey) area but don't let that deter you..lol:p

We are practically neighbors. We used to live at 80th and 116th but just moved. We like the neighborhood we are in now but if we venture out towards Guildford it seems a little dicey to me...but I'm just paranoid.

We should get a group of people to meet at Crash Crawleys or something one day. Or Go Bananas.

I am the furthest away I think. I am in Abbotsford. Unfortunately my little guy is still little and I don't think he can go to those places.

I would LOVE to meet!! That would be cool! I have no gas right now though and the first two weeks of September are out for me :(

But it would be cool! I have two weeks off from my daycare boy right now too.

Hehehe, nope Misty, I think I'm the farthest away! Still no date for DD's surgery, but hopefully it'll be in the next month or two. I'd definately love to get together with you guys when we're down, whenever it may be!

Oh, did you get into the course for Sept? I'm getting excited...mine starts on Friday!

are you talking to me?
Mine started in september but I cancelled it because I found a cheaper one in October. It is the end of the month of October. I asked to get in for that one and she said she would put my name down.

Misty - I don't think Cooper is too young for Go Bananas. They have a toddler area at the one in Langley. (Although its tiny, but I've gone in the rest of the play area with Riley before and he was pretty good on the slides and everything.) Riley is turning 2 on Aug 26 and he has gone a bunch of times over the past few months.

I'm at 208 & 72 in Langley. Misty you could always drive to my house in Langley and then we could take my truck to wherever we're meeting. That is if you trust my car seat installation :) (Oh, and Nicole has checked my seats).

I say we shoot for a day in mid-late September. The entire month of October is out for me, but I'm free in November!

well then I should be good with that. Cooper climbs big slides at parks and stuff. Yeah October is not good for me. I am waiting on that course!

I MAY trust your installations. LOL. But if I am already most of the way there I might as well keep going. It is across from the mall right? That way I have my car if I need to go because someone throws a fit because he is over tired. That is the only thing too. We will have to figure out times. Cooper usually naps 12-2 so I am not sure how cranky he will be. However he can nap in a car.

My seat has YET to be checked by anyone besides pictures. I really don't want anyone to take it out. LOL. It was a pain in the butt to get it in there..

We might be in for a playdate. Langley GB would work. Depends on the day, though. I WOTH FT during the week and DD#1 is insanely busy with activities on Saturdays.

I can't do Sunday's.

Friday's are probably the MOST ideal for me. Then I don't have to take my daycare kid as well and then not have time for Cooper.

The Go Bananas in Langley works for me. It's the nicest one anyway and the one we usually go to.

It looks like it's going to be hard to coordinate a day though that works for everyone. My job is pretty flexible so if we know a week or two in advance I can usually switch my days.

I'm out at UBC on Monday nights but otherwise I'm working from home during the week :)
