britax double click buckle

Does anyone know if i order a new buckle off of the britax site if i will get one of the new double click buckles. I really want one and i am thinking the 10 dollars it is worth it. TIA

I think so, but I have heard you would need a new harness as well. So yo are looking at $30ish dollars after shipping. I am debating if it is worth it myself.

hmm i wonder now. Maybe i still will, i like having an extra cover for throw up incidents, and 90 percent of the time they usually do get it on the harness and this way i could change it all until i clean it.

that's correct. You have to order a whole new harness. They changed the buckle tongues as well. You can see pictures of the differences here (http://sk.convio.net/site/DocServer/Britax_Buckle_Pics_02-19-2008.pdf?docID=8281).

I don't mean to hijack, but are the new double click harnesses stiffer and thicker than the old ones or is it just the Marathon harnesses are stiffer thicker than the Regents?
And OMG! Britax charges over 9 bucks to ship those!

Will these work for the Regent if you purchase the new straps? I would love to have the double click for DS regent.
