He didn't charge me but told me next time he would if I lost it again. I asked how much they were and he said $20. I couldn't believe it!

the rubbing made that happen to my harness. It was fraying. I got a whole new seat.

I think he was trying to scare you.

I emailed them a picture and am waiting to hear back from them. I don't think it is too bad but they asked for it. This is just the one side of the strap; you can click the picture to make it bigger.

oh I see.... I guess it isn't too bad yet. Mine was worse.

This kinda makes me wonder about the new Britax double click tongues. All the old ones were plastic on the inside. The new ones have metal exposed inside like the radian ones.
