I am doing alittle research, like I always do before I purchase things. I used this site to research and chat about my Britax Marathon...which I am in love with.

Now I am onto strollers. I love my DD stroller but it is a biggie. So I am looking into the Maclaren or the peg perego pliko lite. The only thing the keeps me fom not using the one I have now is the cup holders, snack tray and the big basket. it isn't that inconvienent. My DD is 15months and I think I would like to step it up.

Anyone have any advice?

Quest. Excellent stroller and it will have better resale than the Peg when you are finished. The Pliko Lite is discontinued I think. I'm not sure I understand the part about the cup holder and tray...............? You can ad a clip on cup holder and a baby trend brand snack tray to a Quest. I just hang my Skip Hop bag and use the mesh side pocket as a drink holder.

Thank u for the reply. Isn't the peg perego a little bigger than the quest 2?

It can accomodate a peg infant seat and it weighs 3lbs more, so I would assume it is bigger. I loved my P3 for an infant but then about 12-18 months I am all over Maclaren (thanks to this site). If it helps the Pliko Lite is rated for a child to 45lbs and the Quest to 55lbs. Haha, I always tell myself these things to rationalize a decision. You can find Quests pretty often on CL.

i am not so intomclaren, i see them always tipped over.
i think the pliko lt is ok (it is still sold here occassionally, but since most opt for p3, it isn't seen so often)
I too am a bit confused by what you mean with the tray.

What I mean is that i don't want to give up my Graco because it has the convienence f a cup hold, snack tray for DD and the big basket. It is nice to have for a all day shopping experience.

I heard Maclarens tip because of their rear center of gravity which is why they steer so well. I can do a 360 with my quest in an elevator with a 29 lb todder and a bag in the basket with one hand! I do take the stuff off the handle before taking my LO out of the stroller, or I back it up against the table so it won't go anywhere. Small sacrifice to me.

Baby Trend sells their child trays separately and parent tray as well and they snap right onto the quest frame. Someone had pics of it in swap a while back. You would have to take the trays off before folding of course, but if you know you are out all day it wouldn't be too bad. I find my DD is old enough to want to hold her snack bowl, etc. and I use the diaper bag pocket. HTH!

You should be able to contact baby trend CS and tell them you need a replacement part: http://www.babytrend.com/products_detail.php?products_detail.php?ID=&LampID=8&pages=2

If you post a question in chit chat I bet someone would have a pic of their stroller with them on if you were interested.

Here are some pics of the tray on my Mac Volo & Techno.

The kids snack tray fit on both strollers, it also fits on the Quest. I just sold mine.

The parents tray does fit better on the Techno, but the hood interferes w/ it.

The parents tray does not work well w/ the Volo, it slides down and you would have to remove the sun shade.

I do you the stroller caddy on my Volo, and I do use the Valco cup holder on my Techno which you can see in the picture.

I am sorry if the pics come out too big, but when I re-size them, it sometimes does not work.

I still use my graco when we go out shopping because of the snack tray, parents tray and the large basket and it is not tipsy.

I do find that my Volo basket hold more than the Techno & Quest, I think because the seat sits a bit higher I can actually access it better.
I even tried it next to the Techno and prefer the Volo over it.

I just went through this decision!! I ended up go with the Pliko P3. I have been using a Chicco Ct5, which is very similar to the Quest in size, just not as smooth and easy to turn. I also have a huge Chicco Cortina. I wanted to get replace the Chicco Ct5 because it's getting to be a pain to turn and push one handed with DS and the back is slumping which just looks super uncomfortable on his back.

I went with the P3 because it was a perfect combo of a full size stroller but with an umbrella fold which is what I wanted. i like the idea of getting the recline again because he does nap when out sometimes still as well as the snack tray because while he can hold a baggie or cup with treats it's easier for him and me this way. My DS is 15 months old and just under 30lbs.

I think that i may also go with the p3. still researching it. can't seem to give up the comfort of my larger stroller. its just so big.
