My ds is 3 and 1/4 and is 35 lbs (maybe 36). We had him in a Marathon, but my dh crashed our car. He is currently in a temp. Platinum Cargo. I will leave him harnessed until he is 5 or 6.
We have a honda odyssey but will be downsizing to a ford escape.
my dd is in a parkway (7 yrs, 42 lbs). I want to be able to fit a 3rd person in the row.
I just went and tried the frontier. it is huge.
I am now stumped. Insurance has set no limits for $ value.
help!

I would check out the Graco Nautilus. It harnesses to 65 lbs, has nice tall top slots, becomes a high back booster and then a low back booster.

Only problem with the Nautilus is that it's not in Canada yet. This is in the Canadian forum, so I'm assuming the OP is in Canada.

uhhhh. This Canadian forum gets me everytime.
In that case, I'd check out the Radian. It's nice and narrow too.

I second the Radian for a three-across.

Thank you everyone for your help. I went and checked out the Frontier and HATED it: too heavy and too wide!
I ordered the Radian65 from the Safety Superstore online. It arrived in 2 days!
It installed easily in our honda odyssey and is very slim. We like it! Most importantly, my DS likes it!
