Hi all :) I was hoping you could help me decide which one of these two chairs I should get for my DS. He's almost two, approx 21lb and is pretty small (not sure if this is relevant). So we want to get him into the next stage of carseat as he's outgrowing his current seat.
Which do you think is 'the best' out of these two? FWIW if I get hte Zento I can go to the shop and be shown how to fit it etc. Where as I would have the two way elite would have to be sent to me.
SO which one you think?
TIA
*Even though I've posted a poll I'd love it if you could tell me why you have made the choice you have :D*

I prefer Britax but it's more a personal opinion than anything else. Safety wise both seats are fantastic. You will be able to rf your child forever. Well, almost.:D
I know some people who have the Zento and they are very happy with this seat. Speak to CRS or minismom on this board, they both have the Zento. minismom is actually coming to Sweden this summer and will pick up a Zento perosnally (and of course have some umbrella drinks with me:))
Just out of curiosity, where are you located since you can buy the Zento in a store?

Hi, Thanks for your opinion.
I'm in the UK so not much choice really for RF car seats I've found these two shops
http://www.incarsafetycentre.co.uk/index.html
http://www.paulstride.co.uk/
The latter is close enough for me to go for a fitting (and sells the Zento) :D

I'm over in Sweden. Both seats you're looking at are among the safest yoiu can find (because of the high rf limits) If you feel like getting another one of the great Swedish rf seats I can help you out. Just send me a PM.

Hi,
I am also trying to decide between these 2 seats and am able to get the Two-Way fitted in my car, but not the Zento, as that shop is too far away. I'd be interested to know how you get on with the fitting. What car do you have? Mine is a VW Polo 2006 model, so quite small, and I'm worried that the seats may not fit, or that my car does not have the right anchors to tether the straps to. I have been unable to find a car compatibility list for either of these seats, and its still a long drive to the place the Two-Way is sold, if the seat is not going to fit. Does anyone have experience of these types of seat in UK cars?
I have owned both the BTWE (though I on sold it to a friend now) and now own TWO Brio Zentos. The only advantage I really found to the BTWE was that it's a little taller then the Brio Zento, only marginally, though. I find the Brio Zento is compatible with far more vehicles then the BTWE (I often had problems fitting it into a variety of vehicles). I also have found that the quality in the cover and fabric of my Zento is better then my BTWE (when I had it). SO I voted for the Zento, obviously, but like Adventuredad said, they are still both very safe seats. FYI I have also found the extra set of lower tethers cheaper for the Zento then the BTWE. I was going to get another set for my BTWE but they would have cost me a fortune, well over $100 (including shipping) where as here, I can buy them wholesale, though the RRP is $35, so still pretty cheap.

I am a Britax fan. BUT if I were you, I would get the Zento. I have tried my 4 year old dd in the Zento. She is 110 cm/43" tall and weighs 18 kg/40 lbs. The harness was right at shoulder height on her in the top harness slot. But since your son is short for his age and more importantly, you have easy access to have the seat installed correctly by professionals (who can explain it to you and show how). Then I think the Zento would be the better choice for you.:)
