has anyone had difficulty tightening their true fit? I've come across some parents who are finding this difficult, and since i'm in the market, I'd love to hear from you? How do you find tightening/loosening?

There might be some challenges with tightening while installing rf because the adjustor is located a bit lower down the front. This makes it possibly flush against the vehicle seatback and making adjusting a bit harder.

I've worked with a mom with this issue, but tbh, it was not that hard at all. She was just used to the Safeseat and how far out the adjustor was on it, so now with the adjustor location on the TF, she found it irritating.

ETA: I don't find the tightening and loosening stiff or anything like that.

Yeah, I haven't had any problems with tightening the straps either. I did find when dd was rf'ing briefly that moving the harness to the shorter set of loops made it easier to tighten - before moving them the splitter plate was sitting at the bend of the seat and preventing the harness from tightening that last little bit. As soon as I moved it to the shorter set of loops, it was easier.

We're still using the shorter set of loops with her ff'ing. She's in the top slots now so I suspect it wouldn't be a problem, but since she doesn't need the extra length I've just left it on the shorter loops.

eta: If the seat is rf'ing, you can use one hand to pull the straps on the back of the shell so that they're tight on babe, then just pull the slack out by pulling on the adjuster strap with the other hand. That does make it easier with a more upright rf'ing install.
