And it has the incorrect French labels. I called Learning Curve and they are mailing out correct ones. I ordered online through TRU and the DOM is April 2008. I bought it because it was on sale. DD won't be in it for awhile. I'm going to keep her in her Snug Ride until she outgrows it. She's 24.5 inches and weighs 13lbs 5oz. Now I'm second guessing myself, wondering if I should have waited to get it to maybe get a later DOM? I'm a little sad that it's already 3 months old :(

It does have a 7 year life span, though. And she could use it, at her current weight. When my kiddos hit 15lbs, I was tired of lugging our Snugride around anyway.

Ohhhh I didn't know it had a 7 year expiry-just assumed it was 6. That makes me feel better :) We're going to be doing a bit of traveling this summer so I think I'll use the snug ride until we're done traveling cause I love just being able to pop her carrier into the stroller. Yeah, I'll probably switch her over once we're done traveling. I'm SO anxious to try it out!

Yep, 7yr expiry and really 3mos isn't a very old seat at all. I'm really happy with my TF, and you can't go wrong with the current sale price at TRU/BRU. :)
My labels came within a week of me calling them - I still have to register the seat separately though because apparently the actual registration system is separate and the lady I talked to called back to tell me she couldn't register the seat for me and to do it online. I'm not sure if it was a temporary system problem, or if it's related to being a CDN seat.

Hmm, I just bought a new one and still have it sitting in the box in my van. I should probably check it and see if it needs the new labels. Anyone know how this seat would fit a tiny babe rear facing....he's 5.5 months, 13lbs and 23" tall. I just bought a SS1 for him and installed it yesterday but would like to be able to use both the True Fit and SS1 for him if he will fit well in the True Fit. I'd probably get a better fit with the True Fit behind the drivers seat then I do with the SS1 because you can install the True Fit without the head rest for now which would leave more front to back room behind the driver.

At his size he should fit the TF perfectly fine. The TF padding really is sufficient that even newborns should fit fine. The harness does come set on the longer set of loops, so I'd suggest shortening it to the shorter ones. I'm still using the shorter loops for Jillian because it prevents the splitter plate from sitting right at the bottom bend on the back of the shell.
It will most likely need new labels. From what I can tell, BRU hasn't applied the new labels to the seats. It took 1 wk for me to get the replacement label from Compass and I just called the ph# that was in the manual. To tell if your TF has had the new label applied, look at the bottom right corner - if it has a green circle, then it's the updated label. :)
