I need to install our Radian in an Audi today (not sure of the model.) Its buckle stalks are attached by cables (two each) rather than webbing. If it's needed, and I can twist them, is it allowed?
Thanks!

VW has cable buckle stalks, and I've read that VW doesn't allow it.
I don't think I'd be comfortable doing it myself.

Thanks for that. I didn't twist them in the end. The vehicle is a '93 Quattro. Can I just say (as I'm sure most of you already know,) locking clips are a b*tch?! :hitselfonhead:
(Also, grandparents who regularly transport their grandchildren in this vehicle and say, "my daughter doesn't have this much trouble, she doesn't use one of those clips," is very sad. :()

Uuuuuugh! And yes, LC's are a b*tch!
Glad to hear you got it installed, though.

Thanks, Debbie!
How weird is it that this car doesn't have locking seatbelts, but came with factory equipped tether anchors? I think I'd call that putting the cart before the horse! :p
