tether points in '02 Kia Sedona

Where are the tether points in the '02 Sedona? This my friend's van and they told me their van doesn't have LATCH. I saw that they had their RF MA tethered to the underside of the seat it is sitting on. I'm not sure if this is OK, but I thought I heard it's not.

Also, the ff seat's tether is going straight down behind the seat it's on. I couldn't get in to see exactly where it is connected, but it seemed to be under the seat itself.

If this is not ok, please tell me where the tether anchors (if they have them) are for ff, and an appropriate place for the rf tether.

The 2002 Sedona has 2 full sets of LATCH in the outboard 2nd row seats, and 1 tether anchor in the outboard 3rd row seat at the rear of the seat towards the bottom.

The tether anchors are all on the back of the seat a few inches below where the passenger/carseat sits.

It *may* be tethered correctly from your description.

The RF seat can't be tethered under the seat it is sitting on though. It has to be tethered forward of the seat, like we did with yours. Check if there is a place under the seat in front of it that is bolted to the vehicle where it could be tethered (if they'll let you).

I'd have to look at it to find a RF tether point - have you tried searching here for pictures?

I have an 06 Sedona, but that's a completely different van than the 02-05 Sedonas.
