Hi all. So, an internet friend recently completed the carseat tech course thing. Well, she was going to look up some LATCH stuff, but she's been busy. So, I decided to look for myself. Is it true that you can't use the LATCH in the center of the 4 Runner? I've been using it for two YEARS with dd. First with her Marathon and we recently replaced the Marathon with a Regent. Does that mean I've just been hooking it to the outboard hooks?

Yes, that's true. Toyota does not allow center LATCH- the lower anchors are for the outboard positions only. you can still install your dd's MA in the center; you'll just have to switch to the seatbelt. You should still use the tether with the seatbelt.
Is she rf or ff? How old and what size is she?

She is 4 years old, 35lbs, ff. I was in accident (without her in the car) back in Jan. So, we tossed the Marathon and bought her a Regent. I just went out and installed the Regent on the passenger side with the LATCH. It's tethered. Do you know what the weight limit on the LATCH is? I wont have to stop using the tether will I?
