aftermarket carseat covers & voided warranty (IE: WAHM/handmade Britax Marathon covers)

I did a search but am being sort of lazy and didn't see what I was looking for but knew you great ladies could help me out!

Any cover not specifically made for your seat by the same manufacturer can affect the funtion of a seat in a crash. Sometimes the holes for the harness are off...etc. In addition they are not fire resistant. Someone probably has more info.

Thank you! I knew not to use them but was telling someone else who just made one and wanted to give them more information than "they aren't safe"
